The LG Skinny Frame plasma TV also offers 1080p video quality and can actually play pictures and videos right from your USB storage device, limiting the need for all those extra wires, which is a big plus. And while the price tag on these skinnies is a fair amount more than for a regular plasma with a price tag that ranges from $1,500 to just over $3,000, surely over time and with the increased popularity these new plasmas are bound to receive, it is probably only a matter of time until the price on these babies begins to drop.

The exciting thing about all the changes in the big screen industry right now is that these manufacturers are working diligently to help pull the money from our pockets and in doing so they are working at creating television in many different dimensions. Surely some of these developments will come and go as a passing phase, but certainly some new technological advances are being made and consumers will get the say on which ones make the grade and which ones take home the less than perfect report card.
