Four Great Kids Movies Of 2009

Movies are a great way to bring you and your children together and this year has been full of great family and kids movies for you to share. Animation has come a long way in recent years and this years animated films are evidence to prove it and movie production in general continues to improve as well. Today animation can come in a variety of forms and 3-D is like it has never been before. When you go to a movie nowadays you're not just watching a film you are experiencing it and this year has some prime examples of what can be done with movies these days. So whether you are not the type to go to the theater to see movies, you just happened to miss one of these particular films, or you just want to get your kids a movie they will love here are a few hot picks for 2009. These four great kids movies of 2009 got pretty good reviews and even if you have already seen them you might still want to watch them again. So grab the kids and a bowl of popcorn and throw in one of these great movies and spend some quality time together enjoying all the latest advancements in film.

One fantastic kid's movie that came out in 2009 is the movie UP!. This movie was released in the theaters in 3-D so it was a fairly popular event and definitely well worth watching then and well worth watching now. The story of a man who is about to be admitted into a residential care facility and his adventures along the way is heartwarming and funny and will please children and adults alike. This is a great movie to sit down and watch as a family

Aliens in the Attic was another great family film of 2009, even if a little bit cheesy. Then again almost all alien based kid's movies are a little cheesy in some respect. The story surrounds around a few aliens that land on Earth and can control earthlings by means of remote control. Kids seem to love these kinds of movies so it is definitely a good pick for them but maybe not as much for you.

Marley and Me was a great family film and this one you may even like better than your kids do. It is the story of a family's struggles along the road of life, starting with the couple and the dog and growing into a larger family as the story goes along. Slightly adult themed but not anything that kids can't watch.

Finally, my favorite kids and family movie of the year was A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. The 3-D in this movie based on the original Dickens classic is spectacular and the animation life like and realistic. There were times during this movie where it was as if it was snowing in the theater. If your looking to get in the holiday spirit this is the movie to watch.
